The view from my dock this evening was majestic. I take joy in the simple pleasures of identifying birds with Marcus or watching him get excited over otters swimming by. My children and grandchild coming for a visit in the midst of our piles of work is such a bright spot. I am compelled to take some time each day and reflect on the good I see.
I enjoy those type of visits too, but all of mine live out of state so they don't visit as often as I would like.
