When the pressures of life take over and the work you pour your life into drains you dry, it's time for a refreshing refill. For me that means taking time absorb the beauty around me and enjoy some relaxing time with family and friends. Sometimes that is just sitting at the end of my dock with Marcus, finding a great consignment buy with my friend Marian, or a cup of coffee and a deep conversation with Mark and Heidi. I am thankful.
Two of my life verses are these and I look with anticipation to this day: Revelation 7:17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘He will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ ” Revelation 21:4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Mary, I love your scenes of Battery Creek. All of the water and scenic flora and fauna are so awe inspiring and refreshing. I feel blessed to live in this area.
